About Us

Thomas S. Armistead founded the agency in 1947 and Archie Goodwin joined the agency in 1965. Ed Rawls combined his agency in 1974 and shortly after Mr. Armistead's death, the name was changed to Goodwin-Rawls Sales Company.The first line acquired was Jenny Products Company, which is still represented today. 

In the late 1970's, Conrad Haigler merged his agency with Goodwin-Rawls Sales Company, and GRH Sales was created.  Mr. Haigler retired in 2021, and Mr. Goodwin remains involved in the company as a consultant.

In mid-2020 Jack Ryland became involved as a managing member with the agency, bringing two new sales people with him: Jason Holder in Virginia and Tim Seksinsky in North and South Carolina.   

Over the years the company has grown but the focus of the business has not changed. The products have predominately been equipment and tools.
